Hi, I’m Chelsea.
I think good writing is a lot like good pasta — it has to give you something to chew on.
I don’t actually remember how I started writing, but I do remember what shaped me as a writer: the after-school hours I spent on MSN Messenger, translating Japanese comics with strangers I’d never even met.
That’s where I learnt the joy of using language to connect stories to people. Whether it’s through a sneaky turn of phrase or an unexpected analogy, I love the challenge of finding the right words to not only convey meaning, but to make it a message worth remembering.
What I hope to do as a writer and strategist is to create something that packs an emotional punch.
So let’s see if we can knock out some of your goals together.

Soon to be based in Melbourne, Australia.
Collaborating with teams and brands all across the world.
Writing from two of the best coffee cities in the world, it’s a happy coincidence that the clients I’ve worked with are as rich in diversity as the cuppa joes I enjoy.
Deep web intelligence. Hospital interior design. Local artisans. Early wage access. Solar-powered waste converters. Genital shavers (yep).
But the one thing they have in common? They’re the underdogs.
While I’m no stranger to writing for multinational corporations and media houses, my passion project is this: the mom-and-pop shops, the crowdfunded changemakers, the small businesses with big ambitions. It’s my personal belief that even the tiniest of ventures can be a force for good in the communities they serve.
And there’s no greater joy than using my words to help them unearth that little spark of a superpower.
